Good morning! It’s my first official Throwback Thursdays post and I chose to highlight some pretty important (and very good-looking…) men in my life. The first shot is of my father-in-law Tom in 1957- look at the swagger! The hair, the jacket, the how-you-doin’ look on his face… it’s perfection.
The middle shot is of my husband circa 1992 (prom, I think), purple hair, and an I’m-too-cool-for-school look on his face. He is going to hate me for this, I’m sure, but I just had to do it.
The last shot is of little Liam this year. I chose these images to show how much these wonderful men really look alike and I think the contrast over 3 generations is amazing. It’s important to know where you come from and to honor the people who made you who you are. Everyone has a history, everyone has a story. I want Liam to grow up knowing who he is- and that his daddy had purple hair at the prom as his way of sticking it to the man:)
