surprising great grandma barbie… in atlanta!
My Uncle Regis invited me to come to Atlanta a few weekends ago to watch my cousin Rachel in her annual dance recital. She has been dancing since she could walk and is phenomenal! My grandmother, Barbie, always goes as well and this year she had NO IDEA we were coming. I thought it would be an amazing surprise to show up with little Liam and make her weekend even better. She walked in the door and saw his little sandals. “Whose little shoes are these?!” I heard her ask when she walked in the door. She nearly fell over when she saw me come around the corner. It was truly precious.
We had a wonderful weekend and it was more than worth it to make the drive from Charleston. Barbie is 78 years young and look how beautiful she is! I did absolutely NO RETOUCHING of any kind on these photos. I did a little work with Florabella Hazy Skies actions to add some interesting light and warmth, but that’s it. Such a natural beauty!
