Liam and I had a blast jumping around yesterday! I was inspired by the Japanese photographer Natsumi Hayashi, who does levitation photography without using Photoshop. Her technique is to use a fast shutter speed, 1/500 or higher, and pose her body in mid-air. It takes an incredible amount of control and spacial awareness and you often have to jump many times to achieve the desired effect. Truly, I did not spend too much time on this series, especially given the attention span of a 2-year-old! We still came out with some pretty cool shots:) Enjoy!
